Early Childhood Development through Preschooling

A new World Bank report reveals that over 40% of children under five globally (nearly 350 million) lack access to quality childcare, often leaving them in unsafe or unstimulating environments. This is a critical concern, as the first five years are a crucial period for brain development.

In Bangladesh, many under-five children also miss out on essential early childhood learning opportunities. Recognizing the importance of this period, NIIF’s “MoNiMukaR MeLa” preschools are working closely with communities to provide vulnerable children with access to high-quality early childhood development activities. By fostering stimulating learning environments, we aim to equip these children with the strong foundation they need for future success.
